A second truck joins our fleet, exclusively for the use of ATL deliveries.
Both of our vehicles were developed between GLW and Muldoon and are the only ones of this type in existence. Everything developed for these vehicles has been with the focus on maximising the bio-security of the feed and maintaining the integrity of it following a heat-treatment process.
The two vehicles are crewed by highly trained and experienced drivers who are dedicated to those vehicles and are very familiar with the requirements of ATL farms.
With our newest addition, the trailer has been designed with a clear focus on maximising biosecurity both on-site and between sites. The body has been manufactured with a fully sealed aluminium roof for enhanced bio-security - loading is through roof hatches which are sealed and clamped during transit and delivery.
It uses Pure to Sterile air-treatment which is the first of its kind and is the only system that ensures that no airborne pathogens can pass through the conveying airstream and into the feed silo.
It has a tri-axle rear steer for enhanced manoeuvrability and reduced tyre wear whilst maximising payload & has a hydraulically driven Muldoon High Output Blowing System to ensure optimum feed condition with minimal pellet degradation and minimal separation of mash during delivery.
Delivery hoses are individually stored in lockers through the rear of the trailer body keeping them dry and clean between deliveries.
The entire vehicle including tractor unit has been fitted with a Muldoon on-board disinfecting system. This system allows the driver to automatically disinfect the vehicle wheels prior to entering site with a flick of a switch helping to prevent the spread of disease.
This addition marks another step forward as we continue to invest in to the future of our company!
