Current Positions

General Farm Worker – Cheshire

Full Time 40 Hours per week

A number of positions for General Farm Workers have become available on our Cheshire Farms. The days of work for these positions are Monday to Friday: however, working overtime at the weekends and during the week will be expected of the successful candidates.

Experience & Skills: These full time positions report to the relevant Farm Manager on the site of employment. As a Farm Worker you will be involved in the day-to-day activities of that particular site and Company requirements. Although based on a specific site there may be occasions when you will be required to work on other Aviagen Turkeys Ltd farms, so flexibility is a requirement. Access to own transport is essential.

Location: Various Cheshire Farms.

Assistant Rearing/Laying Farm Manager

Full Time 40 Hours per week

This is a full time position reporting to the Breeder Production Manager. As an Assistant Rearing/Laying Farm Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the farm. You will be required to comply with all company policies including welfare, health and safety, and biosecurity. Competitive salary depending on experience.

Experience & Skills: Knowledge of Turkey Breeding would be an advantage but training could be given and the successful candidate will be required to enrol on and complete the Workplace Diploma.

Location: Thirsk, Yorkshire.
