Poultry Water / Feed Station Technician
Full Time
Your responsibilities will involve the construction, operation, maintenance, cleaning and dismantling of the feed and water testing stations (our unique electronic system for recording feed and water intake data of birds). This hands-on role involves assisting with feed and water consumption evaluations including bird handling, data recording and daily performance monitoring to ensure exceptional data quality.
Experience & Skills: We are seeking a practical and proactive individual who enjoys working in different locations, possesses strong troubleshooting skills and is driven by a commitment to continuous improvement.
An engineering or technical background would be helpful. Previous experience of working with poultry is desired although not essential as comprehensive training will be given. The successful candidate will be required to work to our animal welfare and biosecurity standards.
Good team-working ability and attention to detail is crucial for this role. The role involves occasional weekend work and some overnight travel.
Full UK driving license essential – possibility of a company vehicle. Dependent upon experience but in line with comparable roles across the company.
Location & Benefits: This role offers variety, requiring work across our pedigree rearing sites in Cheshire, North Wales, and Buckinghamshire, as well as in our engineering workshop near Chester. A company van will be provided for travel.

General Farm Worker
Full Time: 45 Hours per week – National Minimum Wage
This is a full-time position reporting to the Farm Manager. As a General Farm Worker, you will be required to look after turkeys, with the main roles being maintaining bird welfare, daily egg collecting and grading, farm maintenance and more. You will be required to comply with all company policies including welfare, health and safety, and biosecurity.
Experience & Skills: Experience preferred but not essential as all training will be provided.
Location: Thirsk, Yorkshire.
